dForce full skirt

Hello,

Does anyone have any advice for using dForce with full skirts, the kind that in real life would come supported by petticoats etc? For instance https://www.daz3d.com/a-fine-regal-attire. These tend to sag when simulating them.

Thanks!

First of all I will always recommend using timeline,as it can give you oppertunities to make adjustments along the timeline.

And if you're going for a particular shape, you can use 1 or more "helper" objects, e.g. a sphere under her dress as additional collision object, to reduce the sagging.Just be aware you need to make sure it also from the start is under her dress, so if you using an animation it needs to follow along.

I tried it and got an OK result using a cone that I raised up from below during the simulation. Pretty fiddly though, and it unfortunately flattened out the skirt a bit against the cone, but it's better than before. Thanks!

If you have acces to a modelling program, e.g blender, doing a custom shape as helper is easy, like the attached.
