Render Only the External Faces of Clothing

So I was doing some experimenting and rendering clothing on invisible models so that I can render out just the animated clothing. However I am finding that the clothing models are two sided, and where the Figure's head would be, I can see the material/texture inside of the shirt or outfit that they are wearing when I would prefer to be able to see through this area. Is this something that can be done?

Iray or 3Delight? It's fairly simple to cull the back-facing polygons in 3Delight, using Shader Mixer. You could always do that with a really simple sahder set-up (black for back-facing, white for front) and use the result as a mask on an Iray render I suppose.
