Installing, and using the right version of product - Poser & DAZStudio

I'm only bringing this up because I have noticed images in the DAZ Gallery which on occasion are looking a little plasticky , which is a tell tale sign that the POSER version is being used in DAZ Studio.

When you look at your downloads after you've purchased a product, you'll see a list of product installers that usually have a letter tag at the end.

Ps = Poser
Ds= Daz Studio

Now it does get a little complicated because some vendors place their content in the Poser runtime and some place it in the DAZ Studio content folder. Neither is wrong because in DAZ Studio both methods work, but you want to make sure you're using the optimized version so it's worth a minute or two to look at the readme so you know where the content is placed.

I'm going to use one of my own sets as a example.

    The poser version which can also load in DAZ Studio is here. But it's not the optimized version for DAZ Studio

    The Optimized version for DS with cameras and lights and proper textures is in the DAZ Studio content library inside Environments
