Strand Hair is Amazing but FLOATY in animation--Tips?

Hey guys--here's my latest animation: the blue and brunette were Strand, the pink hair is Virtual World Dynamics. The Stand hairs have a tendency to get kinda floaty, like being in water or in a gee -1 ... anyone know of any tips or slider settings to get it to kinda get it lay down and move more realistically. during animation simulation. Thanks in advance.

I'd liek to know thsi trick, if found, too - my enfeavours with any actual aniamtion (as oppsoed to 'animated sim'), thus far a mere walk cycle, with strand-based hair has been less than optimal, to say the least!  And don't get me started on using a wind node on it at the same time!

LOL, I know right... one person suggested perhaps a weight node of some sort...like we can with clothing...
