Older Content Not Reloading with Scene

Hey all
There are a few older products, like the DAZ Troll, Treasure Beast, and Dinokonda models that will load fine into a scene, but when I close the scene and reopen it, I'm being told that something is missing and they appear as seen in the screenshot below. Any ideas on what's going on here?
Thanks

The Auto-Adapted folder has covnerted geometry from Poser imports. it loooks as if the files are not being created on save, or are being lost at some stage afterwards. How was the original content installed?
All the models affected have been installed using the Install Manager.
I've also tried uninstalling the content and reinstalling it, in case it was an installation error. No change though.
One of the things about saving scenes\subsets with Legacy content (Poser), is that the info on which files were used is stored in the DUF. So even if you lose everything in the auto_adapted folder, Studio should be able to rebuild that data from the Poser files when you load the DUF file.
Clearly that isn't happening in this case, either that system doesn't work in 4.11, or something is getting in the way, no prizes for guessing what my money is on in that case.
Are you using the default contnt locations or have you changed them (to use a mechanical drive instead of a limited-size SSD for example)?
No, it's the default location. I didn't change that setting at all.
Can you save a file (and kind of preset, it's just a test0 to both the Daz Studio Formats>My Library and Daz Studio Formats>My Daz 3d Library folders from DS, so that it is there next time? (I assume you are already doing at least one of these.)
I'm not quite sure what you're asking.
I'll save as a scene, but when I load the scene next time I get what you see in the screenshot above with the error attached.
I just tried saving it as a scene subset and merging it with a new scene, but it was the same effect.
I was asking you to make sure DS could write to both content directories, by trying to put a file (any file, it doesn't need to be related to this content) there.
I tried to find the folder under "data" that it says the content is missing from, but it doesn't seem to exist.
Does that answer your question? Or is it a different folder I should be looking for?
No, I was asking about the parent folder - though since you are there you could try manually creating the folders for the path.
Okay I just went and tried and there was no problem adding files to the parent folders.
Just before I left for the weekend I discovered that literally ALL my V4 content is in the same boat: The V4.2 morphs++ all gave the same error but existed in the folders where it was telling me they couldn't be found. (It said that "a" couldn't be found in "b" but in the folders it was 100% there.)
All the V4 outfits give the same output as the Dinokonda where it's looking for that data/auto_adapted folder that doesn't exist
Now that I have a bit better understanding of what's going on, it seems like I'm simply missing that auto_adapted folder which converts Poser content to DAZ content.
I found this older thread which had the same problem, and the guy discovered that his auto_adapted folder was in the wrong place so he merged them. The problem is that I can't find any other folder by that name on my computer at all. Have mine just not been converted at all? And if so, what could cause that? https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/67333/please-can-someone-tell-me-what-are-data-auto-adapted-etc-etc-etc-files
It does sound as if they are not making it to disc, the question is why not.
Any clue on where to start? I've tried uninstalling DAZ and reinstalling it fresh again and it did nothing.
I wouldn't expect an unisntall/reisntal to help. You said you tried adding files to the parent folders, but did you try recreating the actual path listed in both content directories?
Both content directories? You mean "My DAZ 3D Library" and "DAZ Content"?
I've followed all the directories listed in DAZ to the locations of the missing content, if that's what you mean?
So the folders are there, just no files?
So I tried a different approach based off of something I read in a different thread:
I was able to create folders and files in those locations, but when I tried to do it THROUGH DAZ, it wasn't working. It was giving me an error of "can't run DAZ with elevated permissions" when I tried to run as an administrator, so I followed the instructions in the link below to turn off user account controls... And now it all works. Literally all the problems that I've been having are because Windows 10 wasn't letting DAZ do its thing. All my Poser content can be loaded and reloaded now. The issues I was having with other scripts and plugins are fixed now as well.

I felt like I was going crazy because of all the stupid technical problems and nothing working right with DAZ, but it all came down to that. What a hecking headache.
Now my only question is this: Should I not leave UAC off? Is there some reason I should keep it on?
And if so: how can I get DAZ exempt from it?
So I've read more into it and I know now that I shouldn't run my computer with UAC off, but I'm stuck again. I've tried creating a task in Task Scheduler to allow DAZ to run without UAC, but it just gives me the same "can't run DAZ with elevated permissions" error when I try and run that.
I've created a new admin account so that I can try run it from a normal account, and that hasn't made a difference either.
I've tried running DAZ as an admin and not, and either the scripts won't run properly or I get the error.
So what other option is there? Because right now the only way I can use DAZ as intended is to turn off my UAC completely, which I shouldn't do.
The problem probably stems from running DS as Administrator in the past, this is why I was asking about permissions and whether you could create the path (I was assuming you'd report it if you received the UAC prompt). You need to take ownersip of the folders so that they don't require admin permissions to write.
