Fake Genesis 8 Male?

Has anyone else seen this. When I try to load the Gen 8 male, I get this figure:

All Gen 8 male characters look like this. I've uninstalled DAZ Studio and reinstalled. I've removed the Gen 8 starter essentials and reinstalled (manually, as the DIM will not allow me to redownload and install). I don't want all of my characters to look the same, and I don't want all my renders to be superheroes.

I have some clothes converters, but they don't work on him.

This is very frustrating and I really don't know what to do.

Can anyone help?

    It looks like there's a character applied by default. Have you installed a new character recently?

    Not that I can think of, but i've been concentrating on converting V4 and Gen 3's wardrobes to Gen 8 female. I only noticed this when I tried converting M4 to Gen 8 male, so it's possible.

    If you go to the "currently used" section in the parameters pane, do you see any morphs listed there?

    Yes. Alistair body at 100%.

    0 gives me the old Gen 8 Basic.

    sorry about the original image. i didn't mean to offend.

     

    i just thought that without gens he was okay.

    Looks like you just need to re-download and re-install him he was just updated to correct the issue!

    If you don't want to dial him out all the time, uninstall Alistair for now.

    Submit a support ticket: https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    Describe to them what happens (When installing the character is installed, G8M loads with it set to 1). You can add a link to this thread here. It is also important to let them know that you downloaded the fixed file, and still have the problem.

    Customer support will contact the PA and inform you when the issue is fixed. There's an update to the files, then.
