The Chic Beach Sandals don't bend at the toes.

It's a great-looking pair, but I discovered that it has no support for bending at the toes at all, which is an odd design choice unless it's an oversight.

I've attached a couple of pics showing this. One with just the toes part of the Genesis 8 figure bent upwards, and another using a premade pose.

They don't bend in the poses shown in the promos, and neither do the toes.  Some poses come with flat-footed and high-heeled versions but most don't, since shoes are usually rigid.  You'll need to adjust your pose.

A bit surprising, coming from EmmaAndJordisurprise

Not in my experience. I don't think I own one pair of shoes where toes don't follow the pose, I would return it or try to fix it.

^Yeah, exactly. I've never had a pair of shoes that couldn't bend at the toes. Even the shoes that logically shouldn't (such as high heels and platform boots) still bend there. I'll see if I can reach out to the vendor about it.

  • Hi guys,

The sandals doesn't bend because the sole of that type of sandal is rigid, made of hard leather, with the finger attached, so as in real world, they can't bend. You may hurt your finger or break it. Emma uses lots of them and they don't bend.

But you can pose your figure as you wish, and then apply the feet pose. It will adjust the feet only so you can have your pose with these sandals. That is the reason why we include a feet pose, thinking in those circumstances.
