Bryce installation problem (SOLVED)

I have tried to install Bryce on my brand new computer. When I try to run Bryce, I get the "fat red X" and an error message I'll try to translate.
It goes something like this:
"The program can't be started since the side by side configuration is erroneous".

What??

How do I solve this? I have tried a couple of times to reinstall Bryce.
