i want to animate daz characters from scratch , for example i take a genesis 3 character and i animate it from a tpose to a belly dance move in which only her hips moves but when i pin the other parts of the body the characters get all messed up,i was thinking of buying keymate and graph mate but i cant find any usefull tutorial. i found tutorial only animating cubes and spheres on youtube why would i use keymate and graphmate just to animate spheres i can do that with my eyes closed in c4d within seconds. so is there any way to animate only her hips? or is there any scripts to do so, like moving her hips

Yes. If you want to use IK to help, and to be able to edit things like interpolation type, you might want to look at the current Public Build - 4.12.0.42 - which has incorporated the features of KeyMate and GraphMate into the Timeline.

ok i will check it out
Yes, I hand key-frame custom animation with daz all the time its fun and not all that hard, and you can use daz puppeteer to make things easier., you can save your daz animations in a animated pose preset or ready to render animated scene and you can export animation created on the daz native timeline in BHV, poser Cr2 preset or MDD using the export option found under the file tab. I recommend using exporting in cr2 for preserving Ik-chains with the bones if your working with poser too. I never had much luck exporting animation using FXB or in Mi from daz an still preserve the animation .
A couple of draw backs to using just the daz native timeline though , you can't bake keyframes if you wanted to save your animations as a mocap or a hard-pose cycle animation there is no option for that at this time. , there is no hard surface pinning solutions for pinning to hard surfaces. But you can use the daz 12 beta Ik-chain to custom pin bones to the hard surfaces as a work around. there is no soft body physics as well but you can use deforce as a work around for that as well . so yes cusotm hand keyframe animations are very do-able with daz studio
these animations i did were hand keyframed on the daz native timeline

wow nicely done,,,
