DIM refuses to change the cms dir location

My very large content data base is not in C:\users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D/cms. It is in K:\Daz 3D\DAZ 3D Other\cms, where I want it to be. But the new version of DIM absolutely refuses to change the dir from the C: drive to the K: drive. DIM's settings>Installation box has a field called Content Database Base. It allows me to change the default to the K drive location.  When I type accept, the entire box with the installation tab disappears. When I bring it back the cms location is back to the C drive. I did not have this problem with the previous version of DIM. I absolutely do not want the content database clogging up my system drive.  That information should not share space with the OS. I want it where I want it and DIM refuses to comply.

Have you tried chnaging the location from DS - Edit>Preferences, or Daz Studio>Preferences for the Mac, and then go to the CMS tab.
