Genesis hip joint issues

I use genesis for most of my renders and I have noticed an issue with the hip joint on the female figure. When the legs are stretched the joint starts to look like a barbie doll with a sharp joint line between the pelvis and the thigh. When I am adjusting the leg the joint smooths out and looks normal, but as soon as I stop adjusting it goes back to looking like a barbie doll again. Is there any way to fix this .. or any way to keep the look you get while adjusting? This doesn't seem to be an issue with Genesis 2.

    I have the same problem!
I updated the Genesis package numberless times and never fixed it!
I work with Genesis with fantasy characters who wear dresses that shows the hips! When they sit I have to tweak the camera to "hide" the MALFORMATION!
    Please, fix it!

This probably has to do with the androgynous weightmap of Genesis. Items that are "extreme" like female hips and thighs, would need correctives to give a better looking bend. Genesis 2 doesn't have as much of a problem because of the weightmap is more in line with the female shape. As the weight map can't be modified without breaking all the content, you would have to learn how how to make correctives for shapes that the issue occurs in which requires some type of modeling tool.
