fast reply broken?

Fast reply isn't working for me... I type in a message and it sends me to a new reply screen.

    It is working for me, as I just typed this using fast reply.

    Are you sure you are clicking the Submit Post under the text box, not the Post reply button above it? I keep getting that wrong, especially if the bottom of the text box is below the edge of the window so that I can't even see the button.

    That's exactly what I did. It sent me to the post reply page.

    This time it worked okay, but I tried it several times before and it wasn't.

    I'm using fast reply now... What is the point of it?
    I get that the reply box is at the bottom of the screen instead of being a new screen and that I can not add an attachment... um... did that really save me any time?
    I do feel slightly younger though.
