Can you get one Genesis 8 body to follow the movements of another?

The thought occured to me when I was going through this video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEfUWcYpoD0&list=PLF3LSR7D48Mc5HrNr40rvJ_JJfuP0Kn8W&index=6
So he creates the lace suit using a different Genesis 8 body than it's fitted over, but if you moved either the original Genesis 8 or the lace one, the other would still be in its original position.
It seems like there might be some way to parent the lace G8F to the regular one, but how would one go about doing that?

Wouldn’t a geoshell work for this?
you would probably need 4.12 and create an IK Chain or Group https://youtu.be/MVmI2kS22Zs?t=1601
I have been wondering the same thing about parenting the duplicate to the original figure when I first saw that video. I even tried that once, but I could not get it to work that way at all. Instead I ended up copying the pose from the original to the duplicate, which really is quite simple if a little bothersome when you have to do it over and over again.
A geoshell might indeed do the trick. Or it might be too limiting depending on what exactly you are trying to accomplish.
Not sure about the IK Chain feature. I have yet to try that myself.
