Simple Veins HD will work in Poser

In case any Poser users were wondering, Simple Veins HD will work in Poser (see below). Select Body, and then you will find most morphs under "**bodypart**/Real World" (Head, Arms, Hands, Legs, Feet). I don't see dials under Chest, however. Also, if you use DS and create Poser Companion Files for the Shaping Presets, they work fine (the below picture was done by using one of the presets to apply the veins).

I take it that Poser in this case means PoserPro 2014 and not Poser 10? At least, that's what I've been told about the other HD morphs.
Told by whom? I don't have Poser 10, but as it's the non-pro variant of Poser Pro 2014, I don't know why it wouldn't work in 10 since the DSON Importer does.
I asked in the M6/V6 HD morph thread when they came out and was told HD needs the 64-bit version of the Dson Importer. Which of course does not work in anything but PoserPro, as Poser 10 and 9 are only 32-bit. It was a Daz person who told me this, cannot recall the name now. Was probably Daz_Richard or whoever started that product thread.
Ah yeah, I think that is correct. The other HD morphs only work in 64 bits. But it's not just a Poser thing. You need 64 bit DAZ Studio too in order to use HD morphs.
64 bit Studio I have, running Win7 Pro on a 64-bit system. It's the Poser part that's the problem. :sigh: Even on sale I cannot afford to upgrade/sidegrade/whatever to PoserPro or whatever the 64-bit version of that is called. Oh well, at least these morphs are free so I can "buy" them now and they'll be in my account for whenever I can upgrade.
In case of this particular product the veins on promos look so awful that creating of yours displacement map of veins in, say, Gimp (the cheapest way) would be a much better idea in the meaning of 32-bit versions of Poser, I think.
Yeah, I have the M4 displacement maps, which can with a freebie script somebody made work nicely in Poser. Also Jepe's characters, of which I have quite a few, come with very nice displacement maps. Guess I'll stick with those for now and put the HD stuff on the back burner till I can (a) upgrade to PoserPro and (b) get Genesis 2 working in Poser the way I want it to -- with a minimum of fuss, muss and half-baked conversions.

Why do you think they look awful? They are meant to be subtle visible veins that a regular person might have, not the huge bulging ones that a bodybuilder might have.
