How do I correct this "Missing file" error?

The other day this was a freebie: https://www.daz3d.com/neglected-for-a-bright-loft

I know I looked at it briefly then, but today when I try to open I get a bunch of missing files error.  Thing is, I can find them but how do I relink or whatever to correct.

For example it thinks it's missing:

data/bluebird 3d/a bright loft/abl dining table candles/abl dining table candles_18480.dsf

Note the forward slash if that's significant.

Yet I search & find this:

D:\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\data\Bluebird 3D\Neglected for A Bright Loft\abl dining table candles\abl dining table candles_18480.dsf

Thanks,

Neglected is an add-on for the original Bright Loft. Even if there is a data file (.dsf) in Neglected, the prop .duf actually loads the geometry from the base product using a different path, not the one your search finds. Normally the geometry is not included in the add-ons, but this one seems to be a little oversight. Sometimes there is new geometry if the PA wanted to change material zones, or something, where changing a bitmap was too limiting. You could try to edit the .duf file to change the path and see what that gets you.

Ah.  Didn't notice the required product earlier.  That explains that.

What isn't 'spained is my remembering it loading.

That's just it, there actually is geometry in there, so maybe it was found somehow. Some errors ask you to locate a file, so maybe you pointed Studio to the file you found, which looks like it would work without the base product.

For now i just uninstalled it.  What else might open a dsf file though?

They are usually data files for the .duf, and can't be seen, being in the data folder, but some earlier DS4 products had .dsf as the main figure/prop file extension.

The path you found and the path in the error message don't match.
