Textures wont load...with a twist.

Hello, i have very recently moved from pen and paper to DAZ as i wished to try something new. i got tips from a friend to find ressources and install them, so far so good. The whole software seems very complex still. I did a couple scenes using only ressources provided with the vanilla install of DAZ, in order to get my feet wet and not charge in blind. All went well, scenes were basic but came out nicely. Then i decide to move to the mountain of stuff i had downloaded to start having fun with it...i am yet to have fun.
I know after looking around that textures not loading can be due to many things and that MANY people have talked about it, but none of the things discussed worked for me...or they straight up didnt make sense to my inexperienced self as a lot of users uses a terminology i am far from being familiar with.
I started slow and simply unpacked a couple models for Gen 8 and tried loading them in as is to see how they rendered. i was prompted by an error saying that textures and ressources could not be found, at first that was all and the model would load all gray. after checking, like many before i realised the textures where exactly where they should be and were all named properly and that the path used by DAZ was correct. i battled with this before giving up for a while. i am now back at it and something has changed making things very confusing. now it asks me if i want to manually locate the textures. I am like "great, its gonna be a while, but better than nothing" so i load the first texture it cant find...and that's it, it doesnt ask me about the 15 following ones in the very same folder, it just loads the model with the one textures i located and the rest still gray. So i am even more confused than before, why give me the option for one texture but no the rest.
I am being salty du to the frustration, but i have rarely seen a software so unfriendly to new users and so obscure to understand. I know its good thanks to all the very cool stuff many have published using it but mother of god is it unwilling to let you have a go. All help is appreciated.

Some examples of things you are having problems with may help. If you are using freebies one obvious issue is to be sure you have any required products - if theya re an alternative texture set, for example, you need the thing they apply to.
Do not despair! You started the right way, slow and simple. There are lots of people in the forums willing to help. We've all suffered with startup frustrations until it finally "clicked". There is a New Users forum section that is a good place to hang out while learning. There are Daz Community Volunteers who watch that forum and help new users.
Have you had a chance to watch any of the tutorial videos that are available, or have you tried any of the interactive lessons inside Daz Studio? There is a Help link on top of the main Daz page, the Store page, and these Forums pages. On the main help page is a link to several video tutorials. Here is a link to those tutorials, for convenience https://www.daz3d.com/help/help-daz-3d-video-tutorials. It is a good place to start, but Daz Studio gets updated and improved, so older tutorials may not match the current version exactly. Daz Studio has several workspaces to choose from. Somtimes tutorials may be created using a different workspace than you are using. That can also be a bit disorienting. So keep those things in mind when watching tutorial videos.
It sounds like you may have installed the products incorrectly or in the wrong place, but as Richard said, more information is needed to help you resolve specific problems. What product(s) did you install and what installation method did you use: 1) Daz Connect (from inside Daz Studio), 2) Daz Install Manager (a separate program to handle downloading and installing Daz Store products), 3) Manual installation from Zip files?
The model i have been trying is the Lian for gen 8 ( https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/lian-for-genesis-female-8/137289 ). Unless i misunderstood something it i s a standalone product. after experiencing the mentioned error, i tried 4 other models i had downloaded, the result was the same. thinking it could be linked to models, i installed some hair, they morph and textures didnt load, turning it into a chaos and gray geometrical shapes.
Concerning installation, i have done so manually, i set the path to the DAZ folder created on install
Also i havent watched any of the included tutotials apart from the very first two or three, and i dont plan on as i'd like to get stuff to work first, and then learn how do use said stuff
Lastly thank you for the prompt reply
UPDATE. After a lot of observation i understood that it was a pathing error due to how i created a nem library from scratch, simply using the base one proved to fix the issue, once i understood it's structure. Issue is now fixed, sorry to have bothered
