Where can I download DS4.12 without CM?

Unfortunately CM stopped working for me, I've been emailing back and forth with support for a week, and thus far they not even admitted there is an issue on their end. Making me run around trying trivial things clearly not related to the issue.

And I wish to use 4.12, but I couldn't find a download link for it outside of CM.

So is there a way to download it without CM?

I suppose that you mean DIM? There’s no way to get 4.12 without DIM.

Betas can only be installed with DIM as they need to be installed with special parameters so that they don’t mess with the general release.

I don't care about the general relase as 4.11 is garbage anyway. Besides I could install betas easily before without interfering with anything when they were still available as regular downloads.

I don’t know when “before” was but Betas have been available via DIM only for quite some time.

I think that you will find that the betas have always been only available using DIM.   It is the only way they can allow you to have a newer version without it overwriting your exisiting non beta version.

Nah, they didn't start that till about 4.7 or 4.8 IIRC. Used to, you had to choose which you wanted to run, the general release or the beta.

Quote from the 4.5.2 beta( https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/20688/daz-studio-pro-beta-4-5-2-40-update/p1

"Can I have the General Release and the BETA installed at the same time?

The simple answer is... Not within the same major version (4.x).

The more complicated answer is yes, but only if you are running a 64-bit operating system and you install the 32-bit version of one and the 64-bit version of the other."

They moved to “DIM-only beta which could be installed next to general release” for beta 4.6.2 according to the various announcement threads I checked. That was in October 2013.
