Nvidia GPU support for (older) Mac Pros
I work on a 2010 Mac Pro tower with 2 Nvidia Titan X graphics cards. Those of us working with similar setups are limited when it comes to Nvidia drivers and operating system. After all the effort and expense of putting together a Mac with nvidia GPUs, I’m seeing more and more of my favorite software leaving me behind.. Daz Studio 4.10 recognized and used my graphics cards perfectly. 4.11 and 4.12 do not recognize the cards at all, and I am stuck with just CPU rendering. The difference in rendering speed is just sad. So I am wondering if anyone is having the same issue? And would it ever be possible to add compatibility with the Nvidia web drivers for Mac in future releases? ... and no, I don’t want to switch to PC.

Adding compatibility would be down to nVidia itself, as that is part of Iray - Daz integrates it into DS but the renderer itself is supplied to them as a closed box.
Apple is leaving us behind. Nvidia has been waiting over a year for Apple to sign drivers for macOS Mojave. The odds that they ever will, much less allow Nvidia hardware to work with macOS Catalina, seem remote.
I had to abandon Apple a few years ago as my 2012 Mac Pro was being left in the dust as far as all the software I was using went over to CUDA and I had already waited a year for my new 1080ti to be supported. So, I don't have any good news for you.
