How to fix objects not appearing for the correct model in Daz Connect?

So There's occasional items that no matter how many times I download and redownload, Daz connect puts them in the wrong place:

An old school boy scout wardrobe set for Gen 8 males is only appearing for Gen 8 females, and so on.

Any ideas how I fix this?

I assume you mean Smart Content, with Filter By Context checked? That would be incorrect compatibility settings in the metadata - you could fix it yourself for now, but it would be better fixed in the Daz files - please report the issue via a Technical Support ticket https://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us
