Hello!

I am a newbie in Daz3d and have a question how to apply Extended nails for Genesis to Genesis 2 Victoria 6. When I try to apply nails they fit quite ok to the fingers and then they break downward. As shown in the attached picture:

The problem appears to be that the mesh is too far away from the fingers to be included in the shape projection - or if they are OK zeroed and the problem shows when posed it may be that the weights haven't been projected. Fixing the shape will require a modelling application, adjusting weights can be done in DS with the Weight painting brush tool.

Thanks for the reply. :) Uf, I'm not skilled yet to make it happen but hope to be soon... Is there maybe any other simpler solution?

Is this happening in the zero pose, or only when you pose the figure?

In zero pose and when I pose the figure.

They aren't rounded but sharp! Nails for Genesis 2 are included in this PC product.

Morphs tend to work better on the figure they were created for.

The result is expected for two reasons:

To get the desired look, these nail extensions were created using grafting (because morphing the original mesh just doesn't cut it).
The grafting breaks because the Genesis 2 Female fingertip mesh does not line up with the original Genesis fingertip mesh.

The transfer templates were created for clothes and can't possibly be expected to support grafted additions to the figure.

Yes, there will be a version for Genesis 2 Female (including corrective morphs for all base characters (and V4)) early 2014.
