What is the Lost and Found category in Smart Content?

Hello,

I was wondering what exactly is the Lost and Found Category in the far left hand column of the Smart Content window? I have noticed that a lot of items that I have installed using the DIM show up there for some reason and they are often grayed out, but they still load when I double click on them.

    I think it is something that was not categorized right but I am not on my computer right now.

    Thank you for the reply Miss Bad Wolf. If what your saying is correct that is very strange because even brand new items I downloaded and installed are showing up in there, and you would think that they should be categorized correctly.

    The categorization and compatibility is only as good as the metadata. If the metadata is wrong or missing (i.e., wrong path, wrong filename, does not define a default category, does not define a content type, among other things) then it falls into Lost and Found.
