question on Download and Install Manager and Files

Hi, if I download the the files I have bought via the DIM and I work with DS4.6 do I have to download also the Poser Files? May a silly question but I am not sure if I have to do that.

There are some Poser files that you do need. I think they are Ps files. The best thing to do is use download filters in install manager. Open install manager and make sure the ready to download tab is selected. You will see a button labeled download filters. If you click that you will get a menu. Select only the software you use and you will only get downloads for those software packages. That takes away all the guess work and you won't down download any files you don't need.

If you set the Download Filters in DIM to DS4.6 only you'll only see the Poser files you need. If you've already downloaded them, you can use the filter box to filter by software using the default filters. Also, if you hover over an item you can see what software it's tagged for.

Beyond that, the file names should tell you (although there are occasional errors) -- if the file is labeled "DS" then it doesn't need the Poser version, but if it's labeled "StudioCF" then you need the PS version also.
