The Beastman isn't behaving properly

Recently got and installed the Beastman, plus the LAMH free player (which I understand is required for the Beastman's fur to work properly). Opened DAZ Studio. Loaded a Genesis figure. Shaped it to my liking and applied the Beastman skin. No problem so far. Once I tried applying one of the fur presets, though, I got this message:

This preset doesn't match the model it was designed for.
Or, if you have a TriAx figure, make sure it's set at Base Resolution.

Then Daz Studio crashed.

I figured maybe I shouldn't load a Genesis figure, but a pre-made Beastman figure. So I did that and then tried loading the fur preset -- with the same results.

Tried re-installing the LAMH player. (I was careful to use the 64-bit version as I use Windows 7.) Same thing.

What gives? Help, please? Thanks! (Do I really need Freak 5? Haven't got it.)

My guess is you really do need Freak 5 for the fur to fit.

I don't got Freak5 and it works here. I am not sure if the downloaded player via DIM is already the updated one though. Potentially the "beta" is still newer. As I use the full version myself (which latest is the RC2) I don't know that.

Tried the .dll file provided by the beta.

    Same thing... :shut:

I've only ever gotten that error if I didn't have the figure selected when I try to apply the preset.....

I just now tested the Beastman with the DIM version of the LAMH Player and all worked from the presets, both with and without Freak5 available. Feel free to contact me directly: krsears (at) trdc.biz so we can see what the problem may be.
