This one is a test with lights like a flashlight in an interior room - comments and suggestions are as always very welcomed... (Link to gallery image)

OMGosh it totally is Sean Bean! surprise Fantastic render, and I actually like the light-beam. It adds a bit of Pink Floydness to it.

I like it! To me it really looks like a photo taken in an unlit room, that someone snapped of their girlfriend or wife. My only suggestion is that her outfit is maybe a bit too casual for an occasion where 1944-vintage wine is being consumed. wink She looks like she's ready for a night on the sofa, with her SO and a romantic movie.

Dark side of the moon... soooooo great. And you are as always right... yes

For the „wine-thing“. Sure 1944 isn’t the right thing laugh  i should have take a 1980s for that. wink

Was that in reply to me? Because I assure you I'm often wrong!

    from TV tropes:

[Sean Bean is] renowned as a Chronically Killed Actor. In fact, seeing Sean's name in the credits could almost be considered a spoiler, because it is almost certain that he will be a good guy who turns bad and then dies — or even just a major character who dies period. He even died twice in GoldenEye!

Another one i created for the PC+ Contest - Title: "Black forest Legend" (Link to Gallery Image) Story is under the image ;-)

Germany - at the so called "Conweiler stone", not far from the village of Dennach, a troll is said to have once lived, who is said to have been very ugly, but well-meaning to people. So he helped a lot, if someone wanted to collect berries or mushrooms. You only had to stand in the middle of the forest under an oak and call the troll. This came then and led one to the best collection points.

No one suspected, however, that the troll was only so friendly because he did not want to one go alone through the forest. After all, every troll has a treasure to keep. It was the same with this one. His sweetheart was a golden mushroom. Actually, the mushroom belonged to the wood elfs. These had chosen the troll only as a guard, because he was the smartest and most cunning of all the forest spirits.

But, as so often in life, there is always someone who is cleverer than you. And that's how it came about. Two cunning brothers devised a cunning plan to get to the secret hiding place. One day they both went to the forest. One hid behind a shrub, the other stood and shouted, "Good troll! Come on, and show me where the berries are! "Immediately the troll came over and told the man to follow him. The two started. When they disappeared among the trees, the other man came out from behind his shrub and started right away. Looking exactly for the treasure in the opposite direction. He looked under every bush and under every shrub. He wanted to give up, because eventually the troll could come back any moment. Then, in the distance, he saw a golden flash, and as he walked toward it he saw the golden mushroom. Full of thieving joy he took the noble piece and put it in his pocket. Then he made his way home as fast as he could. His brother was already waiting there. But what they did not know was that the thief had been watched by the Wood Elves in his robbery. These had also told the troll who the thief was. In his anger, the troll put a bad curse on the two brothers, whereupon they died a few days later.

You can still go to the forest today to call the troll. But this should not be advisable, because since that time he leads people only to the most poisonous berries and mushrooms, which has to offer the forest.

    Made with...

  • @Lothar Weber,

Sir, I am brought actually to teras with some of these images.  Not just the colours, the lighting which is especially poignant, but the stories I can tell are behind these each very special and amazing pieces. Though only thing I can say of two pieces, the one for sadly I relate all too well - Boarding.  It speaks volumes to me and which is the beauty of art in all its facets when it touches the heart of one sometimes it is then when the goal of the piece is reached.  The only thing I think on your "issue" with it persee, is that it maybe (I could very well be wrong) is the ripples are almost in over abundance.  But eeh what does the wolf know, but to eat little children.  The lighting again is quite honestly, superbly placed and that has helped give effect of emotions driving me to grab that kerchief again.  Bring on more please.  I will be looking and waiting.  Thank you greatly for sharing.

    Peace,
    Wolf

Please Wolf. No tears ...  I’m so honored about your words. Thank you so much heart

„boarding“ is still a work in progress. I’m still not satisfied with the water. Problem is: I’ve managed to overweight the original file indecision somehow. Stupid me. So it’s again in remaking - and still waiting for the right water.

Your love for my creations make me blush. Thank you again heart

Really great use of light in these.

Not entirely certain which of the two variations for the last I prefer, I feel the spider web might be a little too clear in the first one though.

Oooh, this one's gorgeous! But I think the top of her head and one of the knobs on the chair are poking up through some kind of dome? Are you using that freebie fog-sphere from Rendo, by any chance? I've had similar stuff happen when I've used it, because it's got several different layers you need to keep track of.
