Old user, new pc, need new DAZ...confused

Hi, I got DAZ studio 4.6 pro for free earlier this year (thank you DAZ creators!)

But I'm buying a new PC soon (windows 8 64 bit) and the version of DAZ I currently have (windows 7 32 bit) obviously will no longer work

My question is basically will DAZ give me a new version for my new PC free of charge like they did last time?

If so, what do I need to do in order to get a new version?

Are all my old figures, props etc. compatible with a new version of DAZ?

Sorry if these are stupid questions.

    Yes, DAZ Studio is still free :)
    Most of the older content is compatible, but may behave differently but that depends on what content we are talking about.

    Just download the 64 bit version from your Product Library, or download the DAZ Install Manager and use that to install DAZ Studio. If you use the Mimic version included with DS you will still want the 32 bit version of DS too as that is missing from the 64 bit version (both can coexist on a 64 bit system)..

    I meant commonly used items like v4 m4 etc

    I'm confused, are you saying I need both the 32 and 64 bit versions? I've never heard of the mimic system so I doubt I'm using it, please clarify what you mean

    LipSync is what I meant to write - the free plugin for matching face morphs to a recorded voice. If you don't use that I don't think there's anything else that's 32-bit only.

    Ah ok I don't use lip sync

    Sorry for another dumb question, but will I need to get a new serial number from daz to activate/unlock the full program?

    If so how do I get one? Do I just send a support ticket or something?

    At the Free purchase you will get a Serial code in you My Serials in your My Account.
