Is there a script that can transfer an animation sequence from Victoria 4.2 to Genesis 2,3 or 8? I have a lot of Generation 4 animations that I have collected and made over the years that I would like to convert.I have V4,M4 pose converter but that only copies single poses. Cheers

Not a script, but maybe you can export the animation in BVH or similar ?
Then load it on to a new character.
Reallusion 3DXChange Pro is probably your best bet. I recently purchased the iClone Pipeline (but so far I think I may have been fine with just 3DX Pro) and have been experimenting with retargeting motions onto V4 with very good effect:

This is some of the cleanest bvh import I have gotten in working with Daz figures, and I understand that 3DXChange works even better with the Genesis characters. I will outline my workflow here for V4 since I haven't worked with Genesis yet, but I imagine the basic idea would work for the Genesis figures, which 3DX seems to like better than V4.
1. Mocap in Motive
2. Export T pose and animations in bvh format from Motive.
3. Import Motive T pose into 3DXChange using File/Open (or use Folder icon).
4. Click "Convert to Non-standard"
5. Use "Load" tab to load "Motive Bones" bone profile
6. Test with Preview
7. Click "Convert"
8. Add Motive bvh files to Motion library (choose "Current Character" for Profile)
9. Click "Add to Perform"
10. Click "iC" export icon
11. Choose "Export Animation" and "Export rlMotion"
12. Name iClone Content Folder
13. Export files--they will be made into iClone motion files in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 7 Custom\Motion\[Folder name]
14. Make New project in 3DXChange
15. Import V4/M4 fbx file exported from Poser (not Daz)--no boxes need to be checked
16. Choose proper template (PoserVictoria4, etc.) and click "Ok"
17. Click "No" about iClone materials--character will appear, and should be already Converted to Non-Standard
18. Drag motions to Motion Library from C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 7 Custom\Motion\[Folder name] (or to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 7 Template\iClone Template\Motion\[Folder Name] for standard iClone motions)
19. Click "Add to Perform" (test it looks okay)
20. Click "BVH" export icon (no boxes need to be checked).
21. Change Root Node to "Hip"
22. Export
23. Import bvh file onto blank V4/M4
24. Add new "Pose Preset" into Daz Studio Formats/Presets/Poses/[Folder Name]
25. In dialog box, click pop-up on the right and choose "Uncheck All Non-Transforms" (to turn off morphs)
26. Click "Accept"
27. Load "Hero" character.
28. Double-click Pose Preset
29. Add "null" for eye target; target eyes
30. Animate!

LOL--story of my life in Daz/Poser animation--accidental discovery that makes little sense. As noted in my workflow, an fbx exported from Poser and roundripped to Daz via bvh works better than bringing the bvh back into Poser. Go figure. (No, not that Go Figure!)
FYI, for those interested in animation, a couple of us Daz animators thought it might be nice to have a dedicated animation thread. It can be found here. Please share your work and knowledge!
