The simple answer is 'yes'!
The more complex, useful answers are: you could do it either via 'mesh distortion', so that you actually slightly deform the mesh of the figure where the fingers will be pressing or you could give the effect of the distortion in postwork. The first way could be achieved either with careful use of a handful (pun intended!) of Dformers in Daz Studio or by making a proper morph by importing the object into a modelling program such as Hexagon, or by adding a bump, displacement or normal map to the material zone where the pressing is to happen. The latter method would involve careful application of shadows to give the impression of an impression, and possibly a little pushing/stretching of the skin surface.
The use of maps would be, in some ways, the hardest as not until render time would you see what effect they were having, so you'd be posing blind, as it were. The Dformer method should well work but may depend a little on the amount of mesh at the target location. Making morphs is a thing I know can be done, but have not actually ever done so, so I can make no real comment on that. I am useless at postwork so I leave that for others to comment on - there is an image by Hellboy where he uses this, the postwork, method and very damned impressive it is too - sadly I am not sure where to find it!
there is a way to do it using the smoothing modifier too
