Rendering more than 1 picture

Hi all

My first question ever asked on this forum so please be gentle.

I was wondering if theres any quality issues if i attempt to render 2 pictures at the same time instead of letting 1 complete first?

Also i have Daz Studio 4.11 so would it be possible for me to purchase items from Poser or Daz Studio and use it without modications etc?

I mainly use Genesis 8 models.

Presumably, that's by having multiple instances of Daz open, and having them render the same scene from different angles. I don't think, in principle, that there'd be any quality issues - assuming your PC is powerful enough to cope with the load, but there'd probably be time issues. Each Daz program and scene has its own set of overheads, so rendering two things at once would take longer than doing one and then the other. If you have your render settings set to stop after a given time (as iray does by default), there will be quality implications.

Frankly, you can try it if you like, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you want to initiate a lot of renders at once - to run while you're asleep or at work, say - consider buying Render Queue. It's likely to be on sale at some point during the PA sale. I don't have it myself (yet), but it looks good.

It depends. Almost everything released for older versions of DS, and a lot of stuff released for Poser will work in DS 4.11. But you may need to make a few modifications to the materials to get them looking right, especially if you're rendering in Iray. It's not difficult to do, though.
