Using Skin Packs With Base Models
I am a veteran hard surface 3D artist, but a newbie to characters.
I downloaded Poser, and DAZ so I could get a very specific model into a scene.
I went shopping in the content store and found what I was looking for.
For some background, here is what I am looking for...
I need an African Woman in professional attire to act as a guide through a training video.
I found a skin morph pack (Ethnicity for Genesis), and another (Kunga for V4)
I have purchased a few different clothing sets, and what not, and was able to get them to load on their respective base models, but for the life of me I can not find a way to get the skin packs to show up in the content library.
Am I missing something? I admit I am a newbie, but I feel like I have been using 3D packages for long enough that this shouldn't be this counter intuitive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ethnicity for Genesis is just the Shape morphs, it doesn't come with skin textures. I'm not familiar with Kunga, but V4 textures will usually show up in one of 3 places: Content Library > Poser Formats > [your content folder] > Pose, Content Library > Poser Formats > [your content folder] > Materials, or Content Library > DAZ Studio Formats > [your content folder] > People > Victoria 4 > Characters
I found a Kunga for V4 on Content Paradise. From the readme file on the web site Kunga has a head injection morph and skin materials. The skin materials were set up for Poser 6, 7 and 8. I assume these materials will work in new versions of Poser. The read me file says the material will need modifications in DAZ Studio.
In DAZ Studio these morphs would be located in the Content tab (not smart content) in Poser Formats -> -> Poses -> Barker -> kunga. I'm not a poser user, so not sure where you find them in Poser.
Note that the head morph injections will only work on Victoria 4. They will not work on Genesis, even if you get the V4 shape for Genesis. The skin should work on Gensis, but not on Genesis 2 (unless you buy more conversion products). You certainly should be able to use the Kunga skin on Genesis with the head/body shapes from the Ethnicity for Genesis.
RenderCandy is a good site for ethnic characters. They have a number for sale, and they have some available for free. The free women are all V4 characters as I remember, like Kunga.
