Gen 8 Female Centaur installation fail

Oaklyn is a real beauty, but I can't render her, because the Fem.Cent. isn't installing properly. Tried it several times. Any ideas?

    Is this a Connect install? You could try

    1. uninstall
    2. Connect>Work Ofline
    3. Find the product container in the Content Library pane under Products
    4. Right-click on the container, select Delete
    5. Connect>Login - the product should then reappear after a bit
    6. Install

    If that doesn't work you may need to open a suppot ticket, in the meantime you could unisntalla gain and then install through Install Manager.

    I am having the same problem with Oaklyn. 

    G8 Female Centar will not load into my scene.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled G8 Female Centaur.

    The error popup when I try to load G8 F Centaur into my scene said to check the log which says about a hundered times:

    Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/My Daz Connect Library/data/cloud/1_61909/data/daz 3d/genesis 8 centaur/g8female centaur/g8fcentaur.dsf (1,1): Syntax error - expected '{' or '['

    followed by this line about a dozen times:

    Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/My Daz Connect Library/data/cloud/1_61909/data/daz 3d/genesis 8 centaur/female centaur tail/dazcentaurtail.dsf (1,1): Syntax error - expected '{' or '['

    then a morph error, then some more of the whole centaur, then some more of the tail

    then this line:

    WARNING: ..\..\..\..\..\src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(1908): Could not find geometry definition: /data/DAZ%203D/Genesis%208%20Centaur/G8Female%20Centaur/G8FCentaur.dsf#G8FCentaur-1.

    followed by "could not find geometry" and "failed to create material" about 50 times

     

    I opened a support ticket

    There be bugs in the centaur 8.

    Yeah. Centaur 8 for G8F seems all jacked up.

    I can find Centaur 7 for G3F

    I can see Centaur 8 for G8M in the FEMALE category.

    There's no base Centaur 8, nor any Centaur 8 additive for G8F.

    After the installation through DIM it works, the 1.-6.-procedure failed.

    I'm having this same issue. Tried the solutions above and none work. I'll open a support ticket as well.

    There are 6 items from the probundle that are broken when installing with connect, as well as today's release of Maxx. There are also a few items that are in lost and found in smart content and as The Burst of Times pointed out the meta data for a lot of things is very messed up

    I had similar problems as well. G8F centaur wouldn't load at all, but it started working after I installed it through DAZ Install Manager. G8M centaur, meanwhile, loads fine but is catagorized under Female (same problem shown in The Blurst of Times's post); I manually catagorized it under Male, though it still appears under both Male and Female.

    I'm having the same problem as well, even extending to the dForce Willow outfit. I've had to install both through DIM or else they just plain won't load.

    DAZ 3D failed with this version of the centaur set. Here's to hoping they find the problem and the character is fixed. Or offer a refund.
