Victoria 8 with Default Genesis 8 Female Height?

Hello,

So I noticed with Michael 8 that if you activate his body morph individually, he still retains his default Genesis 8 male height. It is only when you activate the Micheal 8 character morph in the actor tab that you get the default Micheal 8 height. With Victoria 8 though, even if you activate the body morph only, her height still increases.

Is there any way to retain the default Genesis 8 Female height while having the Victoria 8 body morph? And also vice versa, is there any way to apply the Victoria 8 height to the default Genesis 8 female?

Thank you in advance for your help and time.

You can scale her back down, put her back to back gen 8 and scale accordingly.

Also, if you have the Genesis 8 Female Body Morph set, there is a "height" slider. Personally, I like using that over scaling because I think it gives a more realistic result than just making her smaller, but that's an aesthetic choice not a technical one. :) In my screenshot below, the girl on the left is resized using Height whereas the one on the right is resized using Scale.

  • Yeah, I tend to use the Scale dial.

The biggest problem with that is that all the attached Props also scale up or down... so that if you have a Male at 105% or 110% Scale with a weapon prop, and a Female at 90% Scale with the same weapon prop (like two soldiers in the same unit with identical kit), it definitely takes you out of the image with the two different sized but otherwise identical weapons.

Scale works, but sometimes you have to correct for it.

Best thing for that is to scale them first the attach the weapon.
