Content and Error message

Hello,
I have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I recently purchased a new computer and downloaded DS 4.11. I was unable to transfer content from my old machine, as that one crashed, so I began to re-download my previously purchased items into the new one, through DIM. The items downloaded and installed into DS, but they only show up under "my library" instead of in the "contents" pane, as they did in my previous computer.
Also, whenever I log in DS, I get the following "Resource Error" message:
"A valid PostgreSQL CMS connection could not be established. Several DAZ Studio features that require a valid PostgreSQL CMS connection, such as context aware content views and loading content installed using the DAZ Connect service, will not be available. Check your network, anti-virus, and firewall settings for conflicts."
I checked the settings in the computer and I don't see anything that would be causing the problem, but not being all that computer savvy, I could very well be overlooking something simple. I'm not sure how to proceed from here, so if anyone can offer some advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thank in advance,
Mark in VA

Are you sure that PostgreSQL is installed? What security software are you using?
Thanks for the reply!
I just purchased the computer yesterday and it came with a free trial of McAfee. I haven't installed anything else so far.
Exactly what is PostgreSQL and how do you install it? I just downloaded DAZ Studio the way I had in the past on the other computer and had not problems back then... Is there something else I need to download/install? Or how can I tell if PostgreSQL is installed or not?
Mark
One thing I need to correct from the original post, is that I meant to say the items are not showing up in the "smart contents" pane. They are broken down by catergory in the "contents library". Sorry, if that caused any misunderstanding of what I meant.
Thanks again,
Mark
Are you sure they are showing in categories? They should be visible only in the Daz Studio Fromats and/or Poser Formats lists. PostgreSQL is the database engine that drives the Content Management System, which in turn is what populates anything based on Products or Categories (Smart content, the Presets tabs of property panes, the Categories and products list in the Content Library pane).
Is PostgreSQL listed as installed in Install Manager?
I think McAfee has given problems in the past.
Richard,
Thank you very much for the suggetion to check the DIM. I had scrolled through it several times and never noticed that the PostgreSQL had not installed. The field is populated now and seems to be working correctly.
Thanks again,
Mark
