Animate2 Block and Poses Issue

Having an issue with blending custom poses and animate2 blocks, heres whats going on:

I have applied a custom static pose to my G8 fiqure by first applying a default pose from the stock libray and then making some small adjuss to nodes.

I then used the "Create aniBlock From Studio Keyframes" option to apply my custom pose to the animate2 timeline.

Here's where the issue occures -

Once I hit play on the animate2 timeline, the node (right Shoulder) I adjusted in the defualt pose moves postion.

There is not another aniblock after my pose block so I dont belive its a transition issue. If I do put an animation block after mine the issue is still there.

First Screen shot is the static pose. Second is what happens once I hit play...or when I go back to the start of the timeline after  "Create aniBlock From Studio Keyframes"

Appricate any input.

  • Is the shoulder posed directly (on the shoulder bone) or is it making use of pose controls on the figure node?

    Using pose controls to change the position of the node

  • found a work around.

    If I lock the nodes prior to creating an aniBlock from studio keyframes and then unlock them after, everything works as intended.
