Install manager question

Just got a new windows 8 computer and I want to install the install manager, but I'm not sure where to install it to. I have only used daz studio3 in the past on an XP computer, and all my content was a mess. Hoping that the install manager puts all my content in order on this new comp. I have read something somewhere that I should not install to the program files location on win8, does this mean the install manager as well? Because it wants to install to C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZ3DIM1, thanks for any help

    Thats the proper location by default but you can install to any location. You can then set up your downloads folder and install locations with DIM

    You should not Install CONTENT to the programs file folders, the DIM is a program so belongs in there.
