[Help! Messing with CPU and GPU render settings] And now whenever i start Daz Studio 4.11 it would not load up.

 

What do i do?

EDIT: I just upgraded to Daz 4.12 Pro Public Build and now it loads up as normal and i can use it again along with my older preset scenes.

    Do you get an error? Does the UI appear or does nothing at al happen? If it is down to render Settings (which I find unlikely) then instead of launching DS directly try double-clicking a saved sceen file (or a Render Settings preset) on disc to launch - that should reset anything that might affect performance before the render stage, I think, if your preferences on saving/respecting settings are still at the defaults.

    Hi thanks for the reply

    When i tried launching it, the typical Daz Studio picture loading screen came up but afterwards nothing happened at all, it states in my task manager that Daz Studio has zero CPU usage

    Where can i access the render setting preset since there are no Daz Studio interface loading up?

    I also tried uninstalling Daz Studio 4.11 from the DIM and do system restore but to no avail

    Last thing i remember i did was check and uncheck CPU and GPU settings in Daz Studio and my laptop crashed a few times while rendering.

    Try looking in the folder your content isntalls to, then see if there is a Render Preset folder - if there is, double-click one of the .duf files in there (with DS closed). You could also check the folders with any scenes you have purchased as many of those include their own render settings.

    I done what was suggested but only to have the usual Daz Studio loading screen then nothing pop ups.

    When i close the preset in Daz it asked me if i want to save the file, which means Daz is opened and running but its not showing up when i click on the icon.

    This is sooo fustrating!
