Question about texture color for G8 male anatomical elements

So, I feel weird for asking, but I can't quite figure this out.   I'm trying to modify the male G8 character and I've got a texture created for his body in general.  I *think* I've got the texture created for the genitals also and when I apply it in the window it looks correct, but when I render the image it's a (very) different color than the rest of the figure.  My first thought is that my settings for the texture aren't correct, but I'm not sure what to look for.  I tried to match the settings for the torso but I haven't had any luck.  

 

Does anyone have any suggestions for something I could try?

  • Also:  tried building the Zander character and using the texture for him also with the same result.   Not sure what I'm doing wrong. =/

  • Don't forget that the final look of a surface depends on the shader used and on all the settings for that shader, some of them controlled by maps of their own. If the character comes with materials for the Anatomical Elements then there should be presets for applying those.
