  • Window>Workspace>Select Layout should let you get a proper layout - what you have there is the bare minimum suuplied by default, so something happened to the local settings.

When you reinstalled, did you remove the user folders, as well as uninstalling Daz3D?

If not, then you just reinstalled the program itself, it would not have created the profile setup file, which is user-based. EG, you have a corrupted layout and you just reloaded it, after reinstalling, as it is not part of the daz install, unless none exists. (That is so you can reinstall and not lose your profiles. If you can find the file that is for layouts, you should be able to delet it and restart daz, and it will make a new one for you.)

You will need to see hidden folders, to see the AppData folder.

    C:/Users/YOURUSERNAME/AppData/Roaming/DAZ 3D/Studio4/

Files... (Back these up, just in case!)

    layout.dse

    layout.dsx

toolbars.dsx <- Try this first... To get the menu-bars back (Your layout may be fine)

toolbars.dsx is for tool bars, not menus.

  • Hi ;)

sorry to answer so late but last night I lost my internet connection but I found the solution,

I uninstalled daz, delete the folder named by JD_Mortal (studio4), then reinstall daz and everything went back to normal ;)

thanks again for your help, good day ;)
