Hi everyone!
I am using DAZ Studio Pro and the Decimator plugin to create characters for use in Unity (Game Engine). I Initially encountered the problem of having parts of the Genesis model showing through the character's clothing.
So How do I hide selected surfaces in DAZ?
Thank you in advance!

There are several ways to do it.
Select a surface, then in the Surfaces (Color) tab, change the Opacity parameter to 0.
Or, you can click on the eye icon in front of a node in the Scene tab to hide that entire node.
Or, you can select individual polygons from within a surface and create a new surface out of those, then hide that surface, effectively hiding just the polygons you want. That's a bit more complicated: To select individual polygons and create a new surface: Tools > "Polygon Group Editor". In the viewport, click on one poly to select it then hold Ctrl down and select any other polygons you want (or optionally you can select with a rectangle). Right click and choose Polygon Assignment > Create Surface from Selected. (you can also TEMPORARILY hide polygons here with "Polygon Visibility" > "Hide selected", but this isn't saved with the scene.) Give the new surface a name. You will then see a new material zone in the "Surfaces (color)" pane. You can set it to 0% opacity to make it permanently hidden.
