  • What is in the scene? How are you lighting it?

If that is a 360º panorama HDR then it is a seam where two parts aren't aligned properly.

I believe fishtales above gave the correct reply and with that said you may be able to rotate the hdri so the seam is not visible. I would use IRay preview mode so it will be visible in the viewport. You can turn off the scene itself while doing this if desired.

Edit: after posting my reply I recalled that I have that product. When you load the scene there are 11 dome rotation presets. In 30 degree increments.

I went thru all of them and never got a seam as yours. I also rotated the scene itself and found no seam as your pic shows. The rotation presets only rotate the hdri, not the scene itself. Hope that might help. And the mountains are the scene itself, so the 360 HDR bad seam thought does not follow. Are you sure it is not the edge of the spotlight frame shadow or something like that?

2nd Edit: OK I found the "Seam" when previewed in texture mode it can be seen I Have no clue why or what it is -  but when i switch to iray preview mode it goes Away   Yay..... Another EDIT: the seam is a line of the underlying geometry used to create the backdrop. If you put the scene in wire frame mode you will see that is what it is. But, again it does not show up in a IRay preview or render.

It is a really nice scene when set up well.
