Genesis/Gensis 2 and Poser - making body parts invisible

Is there a possibility to make parts of the Genesis/Genesis2 figure invisible (i.e. hands etc.) in Poser?
When i click the body parts and uncheck visible then only the black surrounding of the figure part in Poser disappears (as well as the direct dealing with the part). When rendering the body part is visible and when you move i.e. the arm the "invisible" body part remains in place and distorts.
(in DS i need not this because i can shrink the parts).

Yes, but you have to turn the subdivision level on the body part to -1 for it to work (which switches SubD right off for the hidden part).
