deleting presets

I can easily add presets, but I don't know how to remove them.

    Which kind of presets?

Do they appear in your content library? If yes, right-click the icon and choose delete.

What program are you using? DS? Bryce? Carrara? Poser? Also the OS may help, are you using A PC or a Mac

I think he was asking about how to un-done the added scene(prop,wardrobe...), right?

I am using DAZ Studio 4.6 Pro on a PC. When I do "/File/Save As/Pose Preset..." I browse to a Directory and enter a file name. ".duf" and ".png" files are created. When using "Actors, Wardrobe & Props" or "Pose & Animate" the ".png" file appears in "Presets/Unassigned" It is a absolute file path to where I saved it. The right click menu contains: "Open as New; Merge into Scene; Browse Other Files that work with this; Show in Content Library; Categorize.." Greyed out is "Go to this file's product view". There is no "remove" on the menu. Deleting the files doesn't remove the absolute file link. The box is still in the category the picture is gone replaced by an orange triangle with "!". I enjoy the freedom of constantly reorganizing my data storage. These unfortunate apparently permanent absolute file path links are a nuisance.

So you want to remove it from the Category view but keep the actual file?

If you've moved the files and want to get rid of the link in Categories use the Content Library options menu (rectangle with horizontal lines in the upper corner) > Content DB Maintenance > Remove Orphaned File References

I have switched over to Content Library. It does a good job of echoing file system changes. Even after "?Content DB Maintenance>Remove Orphaned File References" the orphaned references on the left side "Actors, Wardrobe & Props" are still there.
