PATH FOR BRYCE DOWNLOAD

I am attempting to download Bryce into a newer computer, but the path I used to load it onto the older one does not seem to succeed on the newer one.

I let Download Manager try it, and that failed. Manually, I tried 'Windows (C:)/program Files (x86)/DAZ3D', but that failed.

(Now I'm mixed up as to the product to use, since I tried Bryce Content, ect...)

What is correct product (Bryce 7 - Bryce 7 Pro?) to download. AND, what path should I use?

The installer for the application itself can be downloaded from your Product Library under "Bryce 7" here: http://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files/#prod_11035

I recommend NOT installing under Program Files/Program Files (x86), as newer Windows versions protect those folder. Mine is installed in C:\DAZ 3D\Bryce 7

Once you have Bryce installed, add the path to it (e.g. C:\DAZ 3D\Bryce 7) in DIM in Settings > Applications, then DIM will be able to install Bryce content to the correct location.

@dash2128 - not sure what happens. The install manager works fine with Studio but not with Bryce. Like fixmypcmike, I don't install programs in Program Files/Program Files (x86). If you have the option, use another drive and let C for the operating system. In any case, create your own folder structure to install Bryce. This has the additional advantage that you can install and use several Bryce versions on the same computer.

This document http://www.horo.ch/docs/mine/pdf/BryceContent_v4.pdf should help you where and how to install Bryce.
