Rendering with environment map in 3Delight?
Hi guys!
I am following this tutorial https://www.skillshare.com/classes/Create-a-Realistic-Portrait-in-Daz-Studio/49694159 on how to create a realistic portrait in Daz Studio. Unfortunate he use Iray and I have to go with 3Delight because I don't have an Nvidia card. He adds a primitve (box) behind the character as a wall. In Iray he use an Hdr image in environment settings, for more natural lightning I guess. I can't find the same option in 3Delight. Anyone have an idea how I can set up 3Delight in a similar way?

I don't have an nVidia card on my machine and render with Iray all the time. You just set it to use CPU. There is, however, a product that helps translate textures to 3Delight.

I think what you are after is teh UberEnv feature, which provides that overall ambient lighting effect.
Or if you want to use an HDRI in 3Delight and don;t mind spending money there is this: https://www.daz3d.com/ibl-master-for-daz-studio
Or use aweSurface with scripted pathtracing for 3DL, renders many times faster than IRay on a CPU.
