Can Daz please explain purchasing there products for Poser users in terms of:
1.) DSON Importer for Poser, if this is the only thing listed in Compatible 3D Software how do we get the product into Poser?
2.) 1 DSON Core Installer (1 Poser Companion Files Installer) Dose this mean the files have Poser files ready to install.
3.) Dose Daz encourage any one to make compatible files for Poser at all? I just can't buy all these new Genesis 2 figures and morphs and have no verity of outfits. From a marketing standpoint I just don't understand, other than that... they just don't want my money?!

DSON is the file format used by DAZ Studio - if it doesn't say there are Poser companion Files then it won't work with the DSON Importer, at least without work.

Once the Core and Poser companion files are installed, to the same location as plain Poser content if you aren't using them with DS too, then they appear in the library like any other content.

So products that have just DSON Importer for Poser has poser files and you don't have to do any special installations for them to get into poser? Like this product http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-bot-armor-bundle

You have to install both parts - the DSON Core installer has the textures and geometry - but then you just load it from the library, yes.

The main point of the DSON Importer is that if the Genesis product has Poser Companion Files (which the product will say in the Additional Information section of the product page), then once you install all of the files (DSON Core files and the Poser Companion Files) the files will show up in Poser's Library, just like any other Poser product.

My problem is with the files without the Poser companion files, I just looked over the tutorials linked above... and when you get into looking through code you loose me, pulse its work done in Daz Studio which I don't use. Uge! I guess it's still a lost cause to update to any of the Genesis characters till people make content compatible. I guess I'll just spend money on M4 and V4 or else where till then.

Thanks all for your comments and help.

You can use the Python script by Dimension3D to load the .duf fiels directly (with a file browser, like importing an OBJ) but not everything that lacks a companion file will work.

We'll now I feel stupid... After how many years now trying to get this to work for me, I noticed I was loading the script in my Poser 7 runtime not my current 2014. Wow, it works!!!! Do the morphs work the same way? Thank you guys for making me walk through it one more time to finally get me straight!!!!

Any morphs you install to Genesis become part of it's "gene pool" automatically. You will be able to go the dials and dial them in. You don't need any Poser Companion Files for that. Sometimes there are PCFs however to allow you to apply the morphs with one click, but regardless, you will always be able to dial any installed morphs in yourself.
