Products in Content Library to Smart Content

My 3D SpinMy 3D Spin Posts: 608
in New Users

How do i move Products that ends up in tthe Content Library only - to
also show up in Smart Content.

When i right click the product and schoose Show in smart content it
only ends up there temporarly. The next time i look its not
visable in smart content anymore!

    In order for an item to appear in Smart Content, with Filter By Conext on, it needs to have a categories and compatibilities set. You can do this by having the item the file should be conmpatible with loaded and selected, then dragging from the Content Library into Smart Content in the desired category.

                     How would i know if the file is Loaded and selected?

    I meant it's in the scene, and selected - e.g. for clothing you need the base figure loaded and selected, for materials for the clothing you need the clothing itself loaded and selected.

                    Yes i know - But some products are not showing at all in Smart content so i always have to go to the
                    Content manager to find them. And many products i even forget i have because they dont show up
                    in smart content when i select the figure or the clothes!

    Yes, I was telling you how you could add them to Smart Content.
