Pose-able figures

I have been recommended this software for A LOT of things I have googled lol and I just am not getting a clear enough answer from people lol. I have a quick question about the software.

I am looking for 3d models, both male and female, that I can use to help in my sketching. what I want to know is, can I click and drag their arms, legs, knees and what have you into the position, stances, poses that I want and then be able to sketch them? Also, can I zoom in on like, faces, heads, hands and whatever else and be able to see exactly how to draw them, as well as turn them around or whatever in that same position? The wooden mannequins and the somewhat articulate barbie and ken dolls i have purchased just aren't covering this, they aren't articulate enough lol.

Any feedback and answers, I thank you for and are greatly appreciated ^_^

Yes, you should be able to do all of that with the free DAZ Studio and its included content.

This is the exact same reason I got into Daz, I was looking for a digital version of an artist's model doll because I was disappointed with the lack of articulation in the dolls and a friend pointed me towards Daz. Now I'm loving 3D modelling itself as a fun hobby in its own right.

Funny enough, that's the reason Poser was initially created, which is what Daz Studio is inspired by. It's come a long way since then, of course, but its use as a posing tool certainly hasn't diminished any.

Wishlist pose sets- when they go on sale it can really be a good thing to have. One click and your figure is posed, then you can tweak from there if you want to.
