My Poser 11 died and can't repair it. Time to switch & need help.

DazStudio. Literally know nothing about it. Poser know quite a bit. But sick of not finding assistance to my "Fatal Error" that just popped up. Before I slam $100 to get an upgrade that might work let's see about Daz Studio. This question is stupid but I gotta ask - will my Poser based products work in Daz Studio without having to purchase them all over again? If this has been asked 1,000 times I apologize but I'm in a real mess right now. Help!

Older Poser content works. Newer Poser files don't.

Most will work, older yes but you will need to tweak the surfaces. Some newer content will work and some won't, anything using Poser weightmapping will not work in DS, and again Poser uses different shaders so the surfaces will need to be altered, how will depend on whether you are rendering in 3dl or Iray.

I have Poser Pro 11.2 but as it's not installed right now (although the content is installed) and the license server needed to run Poser Pro 11.2 being decommissioned are you saying that for customers to get a working copy of Poser Pro again they will have to pay $100 for some sort of upgrade?
