look at my hair not staying on genesis figure

I have the LAMH onto a figure, it moves with the figure when I use a preset pose, but when I try to move the figure manually, the lahm will stay where it is. Suggestions? The list on the right side does not have a fit to or parent to option, and I cant select the lamh in the scene

I believe you need to resync it.
the only way you can create a wearable hair that conforms for say animation or export to Poser etc is to use Geometry not renderman curves and the transfer utility.
then save as asset.
that ends up very high poly though.
Hi, that shouldn't be happening as the resync is automatic, on each pose/translate/shaping you might do on genesis.
What LAMH product are you using? Do you have the player, or the full version? Which update of those are you using ?
If you wish you contact me directly at info_at_alessandromastronardi.com (replace _at_ with @).
I believe you need to resync it.
how?
If you are using >1.0 (i.e. the Free Player or the Full 1.07 RC available to all registered customers) then the sync is automatic. There may be a slight delay depending on the complexity of the asset, but it should follow w/o intervention. If you are using the 1.0 in the store, then you will need to resync in the main LAMH interface.

I'm having the exact same issue. Running 64 bit, LAMH latest version from Daz Install manager.
When I use the LAMH Cat World (and nothing else), one of the cat women I can use the preset poses fine, then when I manually change something (ie tilt the head) it will not sync and sometimes it will completely crash Daz3d. Renders also fail.
Please send the logFile.txt in the Documents/Studio/lookatmyhairAM folder to devel@look-at-my-hair.com after you experience one of these issues.

Okay. Thank you.

If you quote a post you can see the actual email. You can also you the code brackets to input emails
Or format it to Italics, which for some strange reason does work.
im having problems whenever i fit a clothing unto a figure with LAMH
take a cat world regenesis, for example. LAMH will follow the cat figure perfectly fine, until i "fit to" a clothing unto the cat
then LAMH will no longer follow the figure anymore and just stays in place
really? i thought all that was fixed?
i have plans for cat world renders and putting clothes on them
This is news to me. I'll look into it.

Just re-tested here and it works fine using the 1.05.01 version that is in the DAZ store. I loaded the CW Lion, and then put the Journeyer Scout boots on him (Puss in Boots :-) ) and am able to move, pose, etc without problems.
Please make sure that you are using teh latest store version, or newer. I've attached a quicky render to illustrate. The cube is at scene center.
Feel free to contact me directly if you need help.

i think i found the problem, it's the "Auto-Fit" panel
any clothing fitted via this method messes with LAMH
Which version(s) are you using (DS, LAMH)? Or you can send me the DAZ Log. Also, if you can send me the logFile.txt from the lookatmthairAM folder in your documents folder hierarchy after you initiate this effect, that will help. krsears (at) trdc.biz

I dont think the PM was sending successfully, so here it is
DAZ 4.6
LAMH 1.5.0.1
LOG:
http://paste.plurk.com/show/1985925/
and also i found that the LAMH group name also changes from "Lion LAMH" to something else when the bug occurs
as shown in picture
The autofit issue has been fixed in current WIP code, which should be made available as beta in next few days. I or Kendall will put a note here so that if you like you may try it.
Relating to the original subject of this thread rather than the clothing issue - I found that when drag-posing using the universal tool (that is, clicking and dragging a body part in the viewport to adjust the pose) if the figure was not selected the LaMH did not update, if the figure was selected it did (so the workaround is to make sure the figure is selected and tweak the pose).
