Force Quit on 4.11 every time (Mac)

I have two macs and they both require me to do a force quit on DS every time. Any fix or am I relagated to an extra mouse click?

...and if this is all that is wrong with my life I'm okay with that! ;-)

Are you logged in by chance to the Daz connect store; that is the one thing I found that takes a really long time to disconnect.  I ended up dtaying unlogged unless I was making a purchase.

I don't know what that means. I'd like to try it too but what is it? Thanks.

Staying Unlogged as in not logging in.

Logged in yes...but even after waiting a good long while (like an hour) it still needed to be Force Quit.

    *Sad trombone*.

    Any other thoughts?

Just to be clear: you need to be LOGGED OUT of Connect, not logged in.

    1. Launch DS

    2. Go to Preferences (hit F2)

    3. Uncheck "Automatically Login with Remembered Credentials" in the Startup tab and click "Accept"

    4. Restart DS.

  • This issue plauged me with every single recent update from Daz.  But I only had to force quit once or twice.  Thereafter, the software would quit normally.   Never figured out what the reason was, but a guess is that the new version is busy updating stuff without showing any type of progress bar or UI to the user.  Thus, you think the app has hung and force-quit it.
