I was doing some research when I ran across Daz 3D and Hexagon. Just wondering what it has to offer for its measly $20 price tag and if I can use it for commercial/ indie use. Any help is appreciated.
Hex has a beautiful, elegant UI once you familiarize yourself with it. Sadly it is severely lacking in modern features and stability and I don't really think there's ever going to be a Hexagon 3 released which is a shame because the world really needs an easy to use, dedicated modelling program.
I am fortunate in that it runs relatively smoothly (ie. save your work often or it will all end in blood and tears) on my machine, but when it comes time to upgrade my machine I probably won't be able to use it any more.

One of my FAV content creators uses Hex only, so yes you can use it for commercial work.
